The possibility of a beach | since 2006 - ongoing
How is it that the most insignificant and small particles of sand, can symbolize peace, dream, holidays or even happiness? Awakening imagination and utopia; somehow displacing the brain over the body. The series THE POSSIBILITY OF A BEACH, are installations made out of collected sand - in local plastic bottles from all the various beaches around the globe I have been travelling to, since 2006. It is an ongoing project.

An event specific installation made out of collected sand from 70 different beaches in a hundred miles radius of Punta del Este, Uruguay. I gathered samples of the most popular waterfronts and brought them together in one place.
